Dr. Shaelene Ashby is a Mind-Body Health Educator. She graduated from the University of Utah with a PhD in Health Promotion and Education. She is also a Certified IPT Emotional Release Facilitator and Eating Psychology Coach.

Dr. Ashby is fascinated with how the mind can positively or negatively influence the functioning of the body, particularly, through our emotions, thoughts & beliefs.


She specializes in helping people, with chronic health concerns, release harmful stress and use the power of their mind to optimize their physical health. When the mind is nurtured, the body can heal.

Dr. Ashby has 15+ years of training & experience in the health & wellness field. Her areas of expertise include emotional health education, resiliency education, health psychology, psychoneuroimmunology, affective neuroscience and mind-body health.
